Ghost Note Audio has recently launched a free effect plugin designed to help users match the tone of an audio source and generate impulse responses with ease.
Spectrum Thief is an EQ-matching plugin that can export impulse responses. Great for capturing the frequency response of speaker cabinets, or creating adjustment filters to tone-match your guitar tone (or even a full mix), to a reference sound.
The plugin is FREE and requires no authentication or registration, so grab your copy!
Spectrum Thief can apply a tone matched filter directly, swap to match either the source or target audio, control the amount of low and high frequencies which are applied, and export to an impulse response file.
The plugin is available to download in VST3 and AU formats for Windows and Mac.
