The gossip kicked off on Friday night (July 11) after Moneybagg Yo was noticeably absent from footage of Fletcher’s celebration, which quickly made the rounds online. Adding fuel to the fire, a clip surfaced showing Fletcher posing with DJ Bandz—Lil Durk’s longtime DJ—who had his arm around her.
Some social media users jumped to conclusions, but others were quick to point out that Fletcher and DJ Bandz have been close for years, with some even claiming they’re family. Either way, the internet ran wild with breakup theories.
Moneybagg Yo didn’t let the chatter go unanswered. He posted a heartfelt tribute to Fletcher on Instagram, alongside a slideshow of photos and a video showing off a massive diamond ring.
He also addressed the rumors head-on in the caption.
