Cardi B and Stefon Diggs sparked speculation that they’ve broken up after they removed photos of each other from their Instagram accounts.
Over the weekend, keen-eyed fans noticed that Cardi had removed all photos and videos of the New England Patriots wide receiver from her account. One person also noticed that Diggs had done the same thing, igniting speculation that the couple had quietly split.
It was just a few weeks ago that Cardi and Diggs went public with their relationship on social media. Several of their posts featured cozy vacation clips, provocative dancing, and videos of them partying on a lavish yacht.
People couldn’t help but think the rumored romance was heating up, especially when one particularly viral moment showed the pair enjoying a luxurious stay at Château de Farcheville, a medieval castle outside Paris that Diggs reportedly rented to impress the “WAP” rapper.
Things appeared to be going well between Cardi and Diggs as she explained last month how happy she was, a feeling the Grammy Award winner hadn’t felt in quite some time due to her tumultuous relationship with Offset.
“I haven’t said I’m happy in a very long time,” said Cardi about Diggs earlier this month. “I am genuinely happy. Throughout the day, I’m smiling like a motherfucker because I’m happy.”
As Cardi and Diggs keep fans guessing, they’re both busy getting ready for the next step in their respective careers. Diggs, who signed a four-year, $69 million deal with the Patriots earlier this year, will be heading to training camp on July 23 while Cardi is getting ready to release her long-awaited sophomore album, Am I the Drama?, on September 19.
