Clips have emerged of Remy Ma involved in a tense exchange, seemingly outside a courthouse.
The footage making the rounds appears to stem from a woman on Instagram who says she’s the daughter of a man whose fatal 2021 shooting has been linked to two men, Remy’s son Jayson Scott among them. As previously reported, Remy shared a statement with media upon Jayson’s June 2024 arrest, saying, in part, “This is undoubtedly a difficult time for my family and me.”
In the footage, the person filming Remy, identified on social media as Jazmin Dior, can at one point be heard saying “You’re in front of the courthouse trying to act like you’re tough.” Seconds later, they urge Remy, who can seemingly be heard saying “beat me up,” to join her “around the corner.”
Elsewhere, Remy is seen holding her own phone out to film the person in question, all while the two continue to exchange words. While an image purporting to show Remy seemingly being detained outside the courthouse has also made the rounds, what, exactly, transpired has not been clarified or otherwise confirmed as of this writing.
Complex has reached out to local police for comment. This story may be updated.

In a video shared to Instagram, Jazmin Dior did not mention Remy by name. She did, however, refer to an unnamed woman as a “raggedy ass bitch” and “gremlin” following the courthouse back-and-forth.
“You would have thought I had done something to you,” she said. “Realistically, I can never speak to my father again. … You can see your son.”
In June of last year, Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced that Jayson Scott, then 23, and Richard Swygert, then 22, had both been arraigned in connection with the 2021 shooting death of 47-year-old Darius Guillebeaux. Per Katz, the two were charged “with a coldblooded killing on a public street,” with Scott alleged to have been hired to carry out the act.
In a statement to TMZ that same month, Remy asserted her son’s innocence.
“We stand by Jayson’s innocence and pray that the NYPD will conduct a complete and thorough investigation to reveal the truth,” she said.
