Young Thug is going public with his vow to reserve full-fledged likes solely for photos shared by a certain someone.
Monday, the 2025 ComplexCon headliner addressed a woman referred to only as “mommy” in an update shared to X.
“I’ll never like another bitch photo but yours mommy,” Thug wrote, prompting an immediate wave of questions from fans about the status of his new album.
While Thug didn’t name the “mommy” in question, he and Mariah the Scientist have been romantically linked for some time now. In June, the two sat down with GQ for an episode of The Couples Quiz, resulting in Thug playfully revealing that Mariah “stood me up” on what would have been their first date.
UY Scuti, Thug’s fourth studio album, is expected soon. In April, Thug formally kicked the new era in motion by directing fans to a designated site for the album, announcing, “It’s time.” Featured among the lineup of preorder options was a boxed set named in honor of attorney Brian Steel, who represented Thug in his Georgia case.
Thug also recently shouted out the lawyer on X, writing, simply, “Brian Steel.”
