Sauce Gardner doesn’t want to share too much information about his reported relationship with Ice Spice, but said the pair were “cool.”
TMZ Sports spoke to Gardner in Los Angeles about their romance, asking him to clarify if they were actually dating, like the internet believes.
“We cool,” he said, simply. When asked if that meant that they’d split, he added: “It’s still the same for real. I ain’t trying to speak too much on it.”
Gardner also explained why they’ve got along so well. “We just be having a good time,” he explained. “Two young individuals. She’s from New York, I play in New York. She’s talented, real talented at what she do — same for me. Two people that get hated on that’s really good at what we do, so we’ve got a lot in common”
It took Gardner a few moments to reflect on how they met, but the star NFL cornerback claimed that they first linked during the filming of an episode of LeBron James’ series, The Shop, last April which also featured Travis Scott, former NFL player Chad Ochocinco, and star MLB player Julio Rodríguez.

“I think we met at The Shop, the little interview that we did with LeBron and Trav,” claimed Gardner. “That’s where we definitely first seen each other in person.”
Gardner and Ice Spice went Instagram official in April when they posted a mirror selfie together — which is practically the way to announce to the world that you’re in a relationship.
Earlier that month, the two attended Adin Ross’ Brand Kickboxing event and were spotlighted on the kiss cam when they awkwardly ignored each other without locking lips.
UFC President Dana White, seemingly frustrated at their blatant chemistry, said of the moment while commentating, “They’re acting like they don’t even fucking love each other.”
Prior to that, the two were spotted together several times in public since at least, February. Gardner, seemingly having fun with the accusations, posted a picture of the two posing by a Rolls-Royce in New York on April Fool’s Day.
