Diddy’s ex has revealed herself as the woman behind an assault lawsuit, exposing years of alleged abuse, control, and coercion.
Sean “Diddy” Combs accuser Chelsea Lovelace broke her silence in a new interview, revealing herself as the woman behind a sexual assault lawsuit against the disgraced mogul, saying her decision to go public is “about accountability.”
Diddy’s former girlfriend had filed the lawsuit under the alias “Jane Doe” in September 2024, accusing him of drugging her, coercing her into group sex, and using financial control to manipulate her during their four-year relationship.
“There was a time I truly believed we shared something real. In my heart, for a time I believed he genuinely cared about me,” Lovelace told Rolling Stone. “That we both cared for one another in a way that meant something. But over time, that illusion shattered. And with it, so did parts of me.”
She added, “What I once thought was love and loyalty, quickly turned into manipulation, control and abuse. I was not seen as a person with a soul, but as a pawn in a much larger game.”
Lovelace alleges that Diddy, who is currently facing federal charges including sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy, repeatedly pressured her into “freak-offs,” a term she says he used for group sex sessions.
She claims she was drugged at his Miami residence in July 2024 and forced to take Ecstasy and ketamine, which sometimes caused her to lose consciousness.
Lovelace said Diddy gave her a regular allowance, which she described as a tool he used to control her as she pulled back from her own career.
“I didn’t want to believe it. I wrestled with God, with my heart, with my own silence. Filing this lawsuit — first as Jane Doe, and now as myself — is not an act of revenge. It is an act of release,” she said. “Of standing in my truth. Of choosing healing over hiding. This is about dignity. This is about accountability. This is about the countless times I told myself to be quiet and stay loyal—until silence became too heavy to bear.”
The lawsuit is one of several legal battles Diddy is facing. Multiple people have accused him of misconduct spanning three decades. He has denied all allegations.
