Britney Spears just gave fans a rare look into her life — and this time, it wasn’t a dance video.
On Monday, June 9, the 43-year-old pop star took to Instagram with a clip of her 18-year-old son, Jayden, driving a convertible with Lenny Kravitz’s “Fly Away” playing in the background.
“He is 6’3 and his hands are so big now !!!” Spears wrote in the caption. “How long am I going to be in shock ??? It’s so incredibly crazy, it’s not even funny !!! I’m blessed !!! Just please be careful with my heart too !!! 🙄🙄🙄.”
The proud mom shares Jayden and his older brother, Sean Preston, 19, with ex-husband Kevin Federline. The two boys have mostly stayed out of the spotlight, especially since relocating to Hawaii in May 2023 with their dad and stepmom, Victoria Prince. (The move came after a period of estrangement between Spears and her sons.)
“It’s an opportunity for Kevin and his wife, and the boys are ready to get away from the L.A. microscope,” Federline’s attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan told People at the time.
Over the past few years, the “Oops!…I Did It Again” singer has been open about how much motherhood means to her and how difficult the distance has been. “Starting a family was my dream come true,” she told People in October 2023 while promoting her memoir, The Woman in Me. “Being a mom was my dream come true.”
In addition to the recent joyride, Jayden visited his mom in Los Angeles in November 2024, and the two spent time together over the holidays — which Spears later described as the “Best Christmas of my life !!!” on Instagram.
Fans also got a peek at the mother-son duo earlier this year when the award-winning artist posted a video of Jayden playing the piano. “WOW WOW WOW !!!” Spears captioned the clip on Monday, March 10.
