ModeAudio has introduced a new collection of cinematic presets for the Serum 2 software synthesizer by Xfer Records. Polygon comes with 50 fresh patches, alongside a selection of custom loops and one shots.
Diving deep into Serum 2’s extensively updated sound-sculpting capabilities, we’ve left no modulator idle in crafting this mesmerising collection of 50 royalty-free synth presets, powered by no less than 30 of our own WAV loops placing real-world acoustics and musical expression at the heart of the pack.
We’ve focused firmly on Serum 2’s richly-featured Granular engine for our second ever pack for the synth, with 20 Grain presets forming the highlight of the set, spanning everything from shimmering Ambient drones and pillowy soundscapes, to fragmenting soundtrack-inspired textures and otherworldly atmospheres.
