Triple Spiral Audio has announced its upcoming sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt 8.
A cinematic instrument suited for composing trailer, film and game music, Alternate is designed for dark, experimental, and percussive sound design.
It includes a collection of five instruments. Each instrument features 4 sound groups, with 80 sound sources per instrument. These groups can be blended in real time using an XY pad for flexible layering and creative control. The XY movement can be recorded and played.
Alternate comes with 100 presets (snapshots) per instrument, totaling 500 snapshots on release. Additional presets will be included in future updates.
Alternate is available as pre-order at an introductory price of €42.50 EUR until May 31st, 2025 (MSRP €85 EUR). Prices incl. VAT. The library requires the full version of Kontakt 8.3 or higher, and a Kontakt Player version will be released in Q4 of 2025.
