During the sex trafficking and racketeering trial of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, an exotic dancer that was allegedly hired for the mogul’s alleged ‘freak-off’ sex parties testified about struggling with erectile dysfunction.
Sharay “The Punisher” Hayes, who testified about participating in these “freak-offs,” was cross-examined by Diddy’s legal team and asked to provide more details and clarify some of his comments when he took the stand. He said that he was given “subtle directions” by Diddy on how to have sexual intercourse with Cassie, and clarified that he was never given the impression that she was on drugs or their interactions were non-consensual.
He also spoke about the time Diddy suddenly walked in on him and Cassie and threw condoms at a couch they were on. “It was not threatening, more just assertive,” he said, noting that it threw him off. “I was experiencing my own anxiety too, with… I had not achieved an erection. In my thought process, the condoms I knew was going to be an obstacle for me in terms of getting an erection and maintaining one, too.”
He said at one point during this same interaction, Diddy told him that he wanted him to have penetrative sex with Cassie. “It was an aggressive suggestion, that’s how I interpreted it,” he added. “It was not threatening.”
During his testimony, he was also congratulated on his book, which came out earlier this month. Available now, the full title is In Search of FREEZER MEAT: A Story of he Male Mental Health Crisis Caused by Erectile Dysfunction and the Only True Cure No One is Talking About… a Penis Implant. When asked what the title means, he replied, “What’s harder than freezer meat?”
The subject of performance anxiety also came up when he was questioned by the prosecution, who asked him if he ever had “difficulty creating the scene” for Diddy at these “freak-off” events. “Yes, at times, I experienced anxiety and some sexual pressure within myself,” he said. “So there were moments I could struggle with getting and maintaining an erection. So there were times I experienced those issues.”
He was also asked if he based the book on his experiences with Diddy and Cassie, and said he based it on their “original interaction.” It’s more generally a book about those performance anxieties than the specific “freak-off” interactions. He also does not mention either of them by name in the book and describes them as a wealthy married couple.
As previously reported, he testified about the first “freak-off” he was hired for, which went down in 2012. He said he was contacted by Cassie, who used the name “Janet” during the interaction. He claimed he was hired for “between eight and twelve” additional “freak-offs” after the first one, for which he was paid either $1,200 or $2,000 each time.
