Cassie’s testimony in Diddy’s federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial continued on Wednesday with more graphic details about alleged “freak-offs,” including insight into what she says was the extensive recovery process and urinary tract infection (UTI) concerns.
The physical discomfort from repeated UTIs, per a report from TMZ, allegedly pushed Cassie to frequently take opiates. She elaborated on her alleged use of opiates, as well as other aspects of the recovery process, while on the stand again on Wednesday. As previously reported, Cassie has spoken at length about her time with Diddy in the early days of the trial, which is expected to last eight weeks.
As seen below in realtime X updates from Matthew Russell Lee, a.k.a. Inner City Press, Cassie testified that she would take opiates after alleged “freak-offs” because she “wanted to feel numb.” Massages, IV fluids, and chef-prepared food were also mentioned as part of the alleged recovery process. The UTIs, Cassie added, were “very” painful, with antibacterial medications ceasing to work at one point. Cassie also testified that she would sustain “sores” on her mouth from frequent oral sex.
Cassie’s time on the stand also included additional testimony focused on alleged instances of violence from Diddy, including during the “freak-offs” themselves. Additionally, Cassie accused Diddy of using alleged footage of these encounters to intimidate her.
Diddy has denied the allegations against him, with his legal team arguing that the alleged sexual encounters—or “freak-offs,” as they’ve been widely referred to in court docs and elsewhere—were consensual in nature.
Ahead of Wednesday’s testimony, court docs viewed by Complex revealed that Diddy’s legal team was pushing for Cassie to be prohibited from consulting with her lawyer during cross-examination, specifically about matters involving her testimony. Both Cassie’s legal team and the government have argued against this.
