50 Cent is making good on his tease of ensuring that current POTUS and failed steak salesman Donald J. Trump is “aware” of Diddy‘s past remarks about him. The latest Diddy-targeting Instagram update from the G-Unit Films and TV founder follows speculation of a possible pardon from Trump in the event of a conviction in Diddy’s ongoing federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial.
“Trump don’t like shit like this, buddy,” 50 captioned one IG update, which featured a clip from a 2020 REVOLT conversation between Diddy and Charlamagne Tha God. “You run your mouth too much.”
Diddy says in the clip, “If Trump gets elected, I really do believe in my heart there will be a race war. That’s why this message is not just to Black people. This message is to everybody. This man is really trying to turn us against each other and put us in a situation. America really messed up.”
In another clip from the same 2020 interview shared by 50 on Monday, Diddy is seen telling Charlamagne that “white men like Trump need to be banished.” When sharing that one, 50 told fans, “Welp can’t ask him for help then, buddy. LOL.” In both updates, he tagged Trump.

Diddy and Trump were formerly friendly, at least to some degree, and can be readily seen in pre-MAGA bullshittery photographs dating back to 1997. Trump himself acknowledged this history when answering a question about the possibility of a pardon last month, telling Fox News reporter Peter Doocy that he and Diddy haven’t spoken “in years.” According to Trump, however, Diddy “used to really like me a lot” until he entered politics.
“I would certainly look at the facts,” Trump said of a possible pardon. “If I think somebody was mistreated, whether they like me or don’t like me, it wouldn’t have any impact.”
Diddy has denied the allegations against him in the case. For the most recent Complex coverage on the New York trial, see the latest reporting from Shawn Setaro.
