YK Osiris let fans know he’s going through hard times with a new photo.
Osiris posted a picture of himself with the caption, “Mannn I’m going through it” on his Instagram Story. Clues to what exactly he’s going through aren’t there, but in the close-up picture of his face, the bags under his eyes and the accompanying frown make it appear as if he’s either extremely tired or having an allergic reaction.
There’s a chance that Osiris could be talking about boxing, too. Over the last few years, Osiris has had several highly-publicized bouts in the ring, with the latest being a match against streamer Scam Likely in April that he lost by unanimous decision.
After the match, Osiris hopped on social media in good spirits about the loss and suggested that he’d return his focus to music. “I just want to say I appreciate everybody, I love y’all, for the support,” Osiris said. “I was tired as hell, man, I was so tired. But I got through it, you know? And salute to bruh, you know? I’ll salute to him, you know? Great boxer. He did his thing, and I salute him for that, for sure. Let’s do it.”
In a stream with Lil Rodney Son later that month, Osiris revealed why he hasn’t dropped any new music since last year. “I’m not scared to fail, I’m scared of humiliation,” he explained.
In 2022, Osiris left fans concerned and puzzled after sharing a post expressing his frustration with his life while driving around Los Angeles. In the video, Osiris revealed that Drake and Lil Baby weren’t his friends anymore before sharing dark thoughts that were in his mind.
“You can’t use Drake with me, you can’t use Lil Baby, ’cause they don’t fuck with me no more,” Osiris explained. “So please don’t use that. You haven’t seen me around Drake in a minute or Lil Baby. Long time. So let’s get that out the door. Please don’t use that no more.”
Osiris continued on, admitting an urge to commit self-harm. “I want to just leave this Earth. But something telling me…I don’t know,” he continued. “I can’t even see my kids. People look at me as a clown. I’m a talented person. But that doesn’t matter because I don’t drop my music. I don’t do shit. I haven’t even performed in fucking two years, ni**a. I get why they don’t fuck with me. But, I don’t know.”
After giving some money to people on the street, Osiris expressed his wish to feel good. “I just want to be happy,” he said. “That’s all I want to do is be happy. My baby mama always tell me, ‘Osiris, nobody fuck with you.’ I always tell her, ‘Ah, I don’t believe you.’ And nobody really don’t fuck with me. She be telling me, ‘Osiris, nobody fuck with you. Stop doing music, bruh. Your shit wack.’ Now, I believe her. She’s definitely right.”
