Touch Loops has announced the release of a new sample pack by Skygaze. With influences ranging from Jay-Dee to Tyler The Creator, MF Doom and Tribe, the royalty free Abstract Roots contains a selection of timeless boom bap samples that give a special nod to ’90s flavors but brought bang up to date.
Skygaze’s signature piano chops are on full display within this pack. From the lush, electric pianos loops akin to Slum Village, to the songwriter leaning piano loops found in Tyler’s productions, this has the making of an instant sample classic.
With drums broken down into full, percs and tops, there’s no end in flexibility, allowing you to seamlessly work through song sections without getting stuck into the full drum loops dilemma. Bass takes the form of both live bass loops as well as some expertly processed 808 hitters.
Priced £25 GBP, the sample pack contains a total of 149 loops and 69 one shots.
