The Unfinished has introduced a new soundset featuring 200 patches the Serum software synthesizer by Xfer Records.
Fueled by a powerful mix of crunchy basslines, tense drum rhythms, evocative pulses, and a wealth of atmospheric and savage synths and fx, Serum Alpha II aims to bring an industrial and electronic edge to modern scoring for the big and small screen, with dynamic, dramatic and distorted sounds that cut through a dense mix.
Serum Alpha II was inspired by the work of Tyler Bates (John Wick, Atomic Blonde), Ludwig Goransson (Tenet, Oppenheimer), Johann Johannsson (Prisoners, Sicario), Stephen Barton (Apex Legends, Watch Dogs) and Henry Jackman (Extraction, The Gray Man), as well as electronic artists such as Le Castlevania, Hyper and The Crystal Method.
Available for both version 1 and 2 of Serum, the soundset is priced £24.99 GBP. The bundle of both Serum Alpha soundsets is £33.99 GBP. Prices ex. VAT where applicable.
