2B Delayed Classic is a creative stereo delay plugin from 2B Played, and you can get it for free for a limited time.
The plugin is available in 64-bit AU and VST3 formats for macOS (11.0 and higher) and Windows (11/10/8.1/8 with Visual C++ Redistributable Package).

2B Delayed Classic combines delay, filter, reverb, and distortion effects to do everything from adding subtle width and depth to creating a chaotic wall of sound.
The main Feedback control and delay times set the foundation of the delay effect, whether you want precise, harmonically-pleasing echoes, or a sound that builds into the chaos as mentioned above (or anything in between). You can adjust the delay time independently for the left and right channels.
You have low-pass and high-pass filters to sculpt the effect more accurately, which is handy if you want an aggressive effect without becoming overwhelming or ruining specific elements.
Next up, you’ve got filter resonance control, distortion, and a Lush reverb.
The distortion and reverb are helpful in any scenario, but particularly so if you’re trying to create texture and atmosphere, rather than just space and dimension.
If you’re using 2B Delayed Classic to create an evolving soundscape, and you want a slightly grittier texture, some distortion does the trick.
Although too much of the Lush reverb can become a wash, it doesn’t take much to achieve an atmospheric, airy, or even ethereal sound.
The plugin comes with some useful factory presets, including Distorted Delay, Ping Pong, and Vocal Dreams.
Another interesting delay plugin that popped up recently is Apogee’s Clearmountain Dance, inspired by David Bowie’s Let’s Dance.
It’s not free, but at $29, it’s cheaper than you might expect, and worth checking out. It sounds excellent on melodic lines, whether guitar or keys.
