Stefano Daino has announced the release of a major update to the DSP-Quattro software for audio file editing, audio CD-Rom mastering and DDP import/export, plugin hosting, and batch processing.
Rebuilt from the bottom up to run on latest versions of MacOS, including MacOS 15 Sequoia and Macs based on Apple Silicon CPUs(*), DSP-Quattro v6 stands on the foundation of its award-winning twenty-three year history, primed to carry on its tradition of excellence well into the future.
Changes in DSP-Quattro 6
- New: The GUI of all the elements of the application have been totally redesigned.
- New: It is now possible to open and work on several AudioCDLayouts at the same time.
- New Commands to manage several AudioCDLayouts, including Duplicate, Split, Rename…
- New internal asynchronous engine for processing, now the application is much more fluid.
- New advanced VU-Meters view as part of each Channel Strip, including LUFS and TruePeak measurements.
- New algorithms for Time Stretching and Frequency Shifting.
- New options for using EqualPower cross-fade curves between audio regions on the AudioCDLayout.
- New options for EqualPower cross-fade curves for X-Fade Looping and on Cut Editor on the Audio File Editor.
- New File Player module and Channel Strip on Mixer.
- New Commands also on popup menus using the right mouse button on several views.
- New graphic engine.
- Audio Unit hosting has been updated to last third party plug-in releases.
- Much improved memory management.
- Key commands management and key press detection has been updated to MacOS Sequoia.
- New User Manual.
DSP-Quattro for macOS 10.14 or higher is available for the introductory price of €99 EUR / $99 USD (regular 129 EUR/USD).
