Solid State Logic’s SSL Mixing Bundle is now available for $59.99, offering $396 in value, in a 85% off deal that’s exclusively available at Plugin Boutique. The deal expires on March 15, 2026.
SSL Mixing Bundle features four products: SSL Native X-EQ 2 ($149), X-ValveComp ($49), SSL X-Gate ($49), and SSL Native FlexVerb ($149).
Picking up this bundle also enables you to snag one of the following free gifts: Audiomodern’s Riffer or Diginoiz’s Distiller. Celemony’s Melodyne 5 Essential is unlocked when you spend $99 or more.
All four SSL plugins in the main bundle have the same compatibility. They are all 64-bit only releases for macOS (AU, VST2, VST3, AAX Native) and Windows (VST 2, VST3, AAX Native). Also, a free iLok account is required to authorise the plugins.
Something that had me scratching my head a bit was the fact that Plugin Boutique claims the bundle is worth $826, but if you add up the individual prices of the four plugins on Plugin Boutique, it’s actually worth $396.
All I can think of is that perhaps they used the day one launch RRPs of the plugins to come up with the figure of $826, which would be very much outdated now.
SSL Native X-EQ 2 is designed to be a ‘go-to’ EQ, and offers 17 classic and modern EQ types and curve options.
The 24-band EQ has anti-cramping algorithms designed to provide a transparent and open sound.
X-ValveComp is a saturating valve-style compressor with a traditional comp layout and an added valve emulation stage. The valve stage offers rich second-order harmonics.

SSL X-Gate is a comprehensive and highly visual gate plugin with a rolling waveform graph, tweakable hysteresis using independent open and closed thresholds, and mid/side processing options.

SSL Native FlexVerb is, as you might guess, designed to be a highly flexible reverb plugin with four algorithmic reverb types: room, hall, plate, and chamber.

The plugin has independently selectable early and late reflection types, and a six-band EQ for shaping the response.
The plugins are a bit of a mixed bag in terms of release dates.
Solid State Logic launched X-EQ 2 in July 2019, X-ValveComp in March 2014, X-Gate in June 2022, and Native FlexVerb in October 2018.
I think it’s safe to say that X-ValveComp is definitely the one that’s getting a bit long in the tooth. However, it did get a complete visual overhaul and expanded feature set in May 2018, and has continued to get smaller updates since then.
