For the first time, leading music creation platform Splice is set to release a collection of Spitfire Audio’s most iconic effects and orchestral libraries through its popular Rent-to-Own plugin marketplace.
This milestone collaboration will bring affordable monthly access to professional-grade orchestral tools, including BBC Symphony Orchestra Professional, Abbey Road Two: Iconic Strings Pro, BBC Radiophonic Workshop, Eric Whitacre Choir, and AIR Studios Reverb.
The collaboration represents the first joint offering since Splice acquired Spitfire Audio earlier this year.

Spitfire Audio has carefully captured orchestral performances and samples in some of music’s most iconic recording environments; Maida Vale, Abbey Road, and AIR Studios, utilizing the talents of world-class ensembles, engineers and composers. Featured in Dune, The Color Purple, and Inception, Call of Duty, and Bridgerton, these acclaimed plugins are prized for their depth, texture, and expressive realism.

Spitfire now joins Xfer’s Serum as a Rent-to-Own exclusive on Splice’s plugin marketplace, meaning creators will get immediate access to the full versions of each library with interest-free monthly payments.
Once the plan is complete, the licenses are theirs to keep forever. By making professional-grade tools more accessible, Splice and Spitfire Audio are empowering a new generation of music creators to produce cinematic, high-quality work. The libraries immediately coming to RTO are as follows, with more coming on line over time:
- BBC Symphony Orchestra Professional – Richly nuanced strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion from the BBC’s world-renowned symphonic ensemble.
- Abbey Road Two: Iconic Strings Pro – The most famous string sound in the world from Abbey Road’s legendary Studio Two.
- BBC Radiophonic Workshop – Historic electronic sounds from the pioneers of sound design.
- Eric Whitacre Choir (available August 14th, 2025) – Ethereal choral performances led by GRAMMY-winning composer Eric Whitacre.
- AIR Studios Reverb (available August 14th, 2025) – Cinematic reverb captured in the hall that scored Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Wicked.
