Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs landed a partial victory when a jury acquitted him of the most serious criminal charges he was facing.
However, he’s not likely to have a stellar July 4 holiday now that a judge in New York has rejected Diddy’s request to be freed before sentencing.
The jail menu for the Fourth of July speaks to that.
Diddy will spend the holiday behind bars at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.
Diddy’s holiday will start at 6 a.m. According to People, the breakfast meal will be “cereal, fruit, milk, a pat of butter and breakfast cake.”
Then, at 11 a.m., lunch is served, followed by dinner after 4 p.m. The lunch menu options include a “hamburger or a bean burger, with two hot dogs or soy dogs,” along with “Mac and cheese… green beans, fruit, juice and a hamburger bun with matching hotdog buns,” People reported.

For dinner, Diddy can choose from baked fish, black beans, buttered noodles, mixed vegetables, juice, and “two slices of wheat bread,” wrote People.
Before his incarceration, Diddy was hardly known for rough living. He led a lavish lifestyle filled with celebrity-packed parties — and, prosecutors allege, disturbing and abusive “freak offs.”
According to the New York Post, Diddy’s trial ended up being the most expensive prostitution case in history. His net worth is estimated at around $400 million, although it’s yet to be seen how that could be affected by civil suits.
He was convicted of two prostitution-related offenses that carry a maximum sentence of a combined 20 years in prison. However, that doesn’t mean the judge will give him the max, as advisory sentencing guidelines recommend much less time. Diddy was acquitted of racketeering and sex trafficking charges that could have kept him in prison for life.
The rapper has been incarcerated since September, and the judge rejected his bid to be freed on $1 million bail with travel limited to four states, while he awaits sentencing.
