Rihanna might be a chart-topping singer and billionaire business mogul, but she’s just like any other mom when it comes to taking road trips with her kids.
In a hilarious post on Instagram Thursday (July 3), the Fenty founder shared a few photos of her boys in the backseat of a car. On the left, 23-month-old Riot Rose sucks on a pacifier and stares apathetically at his mom before hiding behind the shade canopy of his carseat, seemingly having pulled it over himself to avoid his mom’s camera lens.
On the right, 3-year-old RZA also hides from Ri, covering his face with a French children’s magazine. “they so over me on this lil road trip,” she captioned the post.
The sweet pictures come as Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are gearing up to welcome Baby No. 3, with the Barbadian singer revealing that she was pregnant again in May at the 2025 Met Gala. Fans are now eager to see whether the couple’s next addition will be another boy or their first girl — something both Ri and the rapper played coy about at the recent premiere of Smurfs.
“Let’s see if it’s a Smurfette!” Rihanna told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet in Brussels. “Could be a Papa Smurf, who knows?”
In the meantime, it looks like Ri and Rocky are getting their sons involved in a tradition that’s long been important in their romance: road tripping. In her 2022 Vogue cover story, Rihanna revealed that she and the hip-hop star sealed their bond early on in their relationship by driving cross-country from New York to Los Angeles together, telling the publication, “He became my family in that time.”
“I cooked our food on this little janky grill I bought from Walmart,” she added at the time. “I still have it, too. It works like nobody’s business.”
