Paying tribute to the classic dub sounds of the 1970s, Renegade Audio’s latest sample pack Foundation Dub is inspired by legends like King Tubby, Lee Perry, and the producers of the era.
This loop pack is designed for artists looking to create dub music with a human touch. Featuring live performances on bass, guitars, keys, percussion, and drums, these loops retain the natural feel of the era, with no quantization to ensure an organic, soulful groove. Each loop is offered in two versions—wet with classic dub effects (like spring reverb, phasers, and dub filters), and dry, allowing you to craft your own sounds.
“Foundation Dub” offers maximum flexibility with individual loops, you can layer and experiment with endless combinations with full drum kits, hi-hats, snares, rimshots, rolls, and a selection of skanks from organs, electric keys, and guitars. The heavy basslines provide the foundation, while the skanks and percussion bring the grooves to life. This pack covers five tempos—65, 86, 114, 126, and 140 BPM—making it versatile for various reggae and dub productions.
