Boosie Badazz was among the celebs celebrating the verdict in Sean Diddy Combs’ case, calling it “a great day” for Hip-Hop and praising the mogul’s freedom in a passionate video posted online.

“Man, I’m so glad Diddy is free,” Boosie said in the video shared Wednesday (July 2). “Because I’m tired of seeing us Black moguls get took down like that, bro. And I’m tired of seeing us Black people go against us Black moguls like that.”

The Louisiana rapper, who has previously defended Diddy, also stated that he believed the outcome would have been different if Diddy were white, claiming that supporters would have been protesting on his behalf.

Boosie acknowledged the partial guilty verdict but brushed it off, saying Diddy wasn’t guilty of anything beyond “domestic violence.”

He advised Diddy, “Sit your ass down somewhere. Grab Stevie J and get the f### on.”

Hitmaka echoed Boosie’s sentiment in the comments, replying, “GOD IS GOOD.”

Meanwhile, Ray J took a more celebratory route, spinning Diddy hits on his livestream as a nod to the Bad Boy founder’s catalog.

But not everyone was in a mood to celebrate.

Lunell Calls Out Diddy Supporters & Enablers

Comedian Luenell posted a sharp critique on Instagram, writing, “Nobody and I mean NOBODY cares about what men do to Women. It’s Sad AF to ME! All his enablers and helpers they just get to skip away scott free. Hurry, run and get your baby oil and let the ‘freak offs’ begin Again.”

Pop singer Kesha voiced her support for Cassie Ventura following the verdict. “Cassie, I believe you,” she wrote. “I love you. Your strength is a beacon for every survivor.”

Diddy was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution—one count each involving Cassie Ventura and another woman known as “Jane.” Each count carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, for a total possible sentence of 20 years.

He was acquitted of the more serious charges: racketeering conspiracy and two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion (one involving Cassie, one involving “Jane”)

Former Danity Kane member Aubrey O’Day, who has been outspoken about her time under Diddy’s label, reacted live to the verdict. “Oh my God,” she said. “This makes me physically ill … Cassie probably feels so horrible.”

She later posted a detailed statement accusing Diddy of a “pattern of behavior” and praised Cassie for speaking out.

50 Cent kept his foot on the gas, continuing his online trolling of Diddy, while Consequence took a jab at Kid Cudi on X, posting, “Kid Cudi testified against Puff for NOTHING.”

However, many pointed out Cudi was subpoenaed in connection to claims Diddy had his car blown up.

Funk Flex also stirred backlash after saying Cassie was “not a victim” and that both she and Diddy “made mistakes.”
