Post Malone‘s attorney has called out his ex-fiancée for attempting to mislead the court by filing for sole physical custody of their child in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, his attorney Laura Wasser is requesting that the judge dismiss the case, claiming Hee Sung “Jamie” Park, the mother of their daughter, “rushed to enroll [the child] in every type of activity she can in order to mislead the court to believe that [the child] has lived in California and not in Utah.”
Post filed for custody in Utah, four days prior to Park.
Wasser alleges their child, and her nanny live in Utah, while her pediatrician is located in Salt Lake City. His attorney mentioned their daughter has been enrolled in music, gym, and swimming classes in the state, as well.
TMZ suspects Park filed in California because the state’s courts tend to award more for child support.
Malone was spotted with his new girlfriend Christy Lee in March following his split from Park late last year. Post confirmed the birth of their child and engagement in a 2022 interview with Howard Stern.
