The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is one of the most important weeks in the global electronic music calendar. DJ Shorty
Our lecturer, DJ Shorty, represented pointblank at the AlphaTheta x Apple Music DJ Workshop. He supported our partner AlphaTheta at the ADE Gear Test Lab and ran an Apple Music workshop as a DJ trainer, helping keen enthusiasts take their first steps behind the decks. As a lecturer, he brings that same real-world expertise back to our students, keeping their learning grounded in current industry practice.
Halina Rice
pointblank alumna Halina Rice made a strong impact at ADE with a series of masterclasses and immersive live events. Known for her ‘immersive first’ approach, she blends music, art, and technology to create stunning Audio-Visual performances. Her masterclass, ‘Creating Show & Sound’, gave a behind-the-scenes look at how she builds her shows from the first idea to the final stage, which was a real treat for anyone interested in immersive live music.
The next day, she returned with her ‘FULL CYCLE 360°’ concert, combining spatial audio, visuals, and light into a completely immersive experience. Alongside a Dolby Atmos listening session and panel discussions on the future of club sound, Halina showed exactly why she’s becoming one of the most exciting voices in electronic music performance.
