Popular rapper and No Jumper host 4xtra has reportedly injured his hand pretty badly in an Independence Day firework accident.
On Friday (July 4), 4xtra posted a video of himself holding a couple of fireworks while making threatening claims to the camera. “Who wants to get blown up today?” he asked before following up with a promise to cause chaos. “I’m blowing somebody up today.”
It turned out, however, the person that he’d end up injuring was apparently himself. A picture surfaced a few hours after 4xtra’s post featuring him holding his extremely injured hand. It’s a grotesque image, so be warned before you click here to see it.
According to No Jumper’s X account, 4xtra had “blown off his hand” with a firework — presumably one of the two that he’d previously filmed himself holding.
No Jumper owner Adam22 clarified the extent of 4xtra’s injuries in a separate post from his personal account, writing: “I’m hearing that 4xtra only lost 2 fingers not the whole hand. Also he was blind for a few hours but apparently his vision is back.”

4xtra has yet to confirm the news. Complex has also reached out to No Jumper and 4xtra for more information.
4xtra’s gruesome injury is the latest blow to the No Jumper podcast after it recently announced some serious structural changes. In April, Adam22 announced that the company would be undergoing layoffs due to “two major Ls” that the company had experienced in recent months.
“First, we lost the No Jumper Instagram,” Adam22 said. “After almost 10 years of building it up and essentially no strikes on our account we got taken down one day and we still have absolutely no idea why.”
The second L was the legal action against No Jumper taken by former employee Yuriy, who alleged workplace misconduct. “It’s insane to me that a person that we did so much for can just invent some grievances out of thin air and cost us this much money,” Adam22 said. “As a result, this person has literally lost every single friend that he used to have when he worked at No Jumper.”
Adam22 revealed that he feels confident about the changes that the company had to make. “To be honest, aside from the lay-offs, I’m pretty happy about all those changes,” Adam22 confessed. “I’ve realized that I should have paid more attention to DJ Vlad and kept my overhead as low as possible, particularly in terms of staff and location. I’m confident that once we get the building sold, we will be in a pretty solid financial position again as a business.”
