Following the news that Kevin Durant has been traded from the Phoenix Suns to the Houston Rockets, rapper Lil B has reignited his beef with the 36-year-old NBA star.
Lil B tweeted about Durant over the weekend after news of the blockbuster trade broke.
“Kevin Durant you still owe me that 1 on 1 you ain’t ready real NBA I really love basketball and hoop I mean that!” he wrote. “Whatever basketball court you want ! And yo raps is trash bithc [sic] – Lil B.”
He followed up that tweet by doubling down on his opinion of KD.
“Kevin Durant really ain’t bout no basketball shit yo ain’t go no real paper you really just a ho pull up whenever u ready any basketball court on earth I mean that I’m waiting for you,” he wrote, which garnered a response from the NBA star.
“Broke boy asking for a feature in my DM,” Durant replied. “U wouldn’t be able to get a shot off on me lil one, you was once a thing, I’m still that.”

Lil B responded, “Got it.”
Over a decade ago, Durant shared a dismissive tweet about the popularity of Lil B and called him “wack.” The Bay Area legend caught wind of the comment and cursed him to “never win” an NBA championship.
He temporarily rescinded the curse, but the beef came back big-time in 2014 when the Based God shared a song titled “Fuck KD.”
Whether because of the Based God curse or not, KD failed to take home a championship until after Lil B rescinded the curse when Durant was traded to the Golden State Warriors. During his time with the team, Durant took home his first two, and so far only, NBA championship titles.
Whether the potential reinstatement of the curse will impact Durant’s upcoming season with Houston is yet to be seen.
