During a recent performance at the Central Stadium in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Jennifer Lopez calmly dealt with a bug that intruded on her personal space and managed to play it off as if nothing happened.
As seen in a video from the performance, J.Lo concluded a song when a large bug that appeared to be either a grasshopper or a cricket crawled up towards her neck. Just as the song reached its crescendo, she quickly grabbed the creepy crawly and dramatically tossed it to the side. She then calmly reached for her neck and told the audience with a smile, “He was tickling me.”
Lopez is currently on the last leg of her Europe and Asia tour, Up All Night. The string of shows kicked off in Spain last month and will wrap with a final show in Sardinia, Italy, on Tuesday (August 12). Following the conclusion of the tour, she’ll be bringing her Up All Night shows to Las Vegas with a residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The residency will comprise 12 shows, running from December 30, 2025, to March 28, 2026.

Her onstage incident with the bug in Kazakhstan isn’t the only thing she’s calmly played off as of late. Earlier this year, the 56-year-old singer-songwriter and actress divorced her fourth husband, actor and filmmaker Ben Affleck, after three years of marriage. During an appearance at the American Music Awards in May, she insisted that she’s “happy” single and doesn’t plan on getting into another relationship anytime soon.
In an interview with Access Hollywood’s Lauren Herbet, it was joked to her that Tiffany Haddish wanted to go “manhunting” with Lopez. “She said that to me, I said, ‘Girl, I’m not looking for no man,'” Lopez replied. “I’m happy right now. I’m not trying to ruin it, okay?”
ComplexCon returns to Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025, with over 300 brands and live performances by Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and more. Get your tickets now.
