Changes in SourceLab v1.2.5
- Three New Unison Filters: Introducing Unison Comb Plus, Unison Comb Minus, and Unison Phase. Each filter supports up to 4 voices, enabling dynamic movement in your sounds when spread is increased. These can be applied polyphonically or in the FX section for versatile sound sculpting.
- Undo and Redo Functionality: We’ve added comprehensive undo and redo capabilities for the majority of actions, allowing you to experiment freely without fear of losing progress.
- Enhanced Key and Scale Detection: Our algorithm is now more precise, analyzing both chords and single-note pitches to deliver accurate results every time.
- Optimized Defaults: On first launch, the plugin now defaults to 24 voices—up from the previous 4—for a richer, more immersive starting point.
- Improved Note Quantization: The Quantise button has been upgraded to a popup menu, offering options to ‘Quantise All’ or ‘Quantise Selected’ for greater control.
- Smarter Tooltips: If tooltip text exceeds the display area, it will automatically scroll after 2 seconds, ensuring you never miss important details.
- Fixed note quantization not updating notes correctly.
- Resolved resizing notes inadvertently applying quantization to the start position.
- Implemented minor UI enhancements for a more polished interface.
The update is available for all SourceLab users. New customers can purchase the synth for $199 USD at Plugin Boutique and from the Initial Audio store. It is available in VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats and as standalone software for Windows and Mac.
