Harrison Audio has released four new plugins, including 3D Delay. You can download one of them for free by subscribing to the developer’s newsletter.
The four new plugins are Stunning Phaser, Dyno Mite, Spectral Gate, and 3D Delay.
The freebie on offer is 3D Delay, a versatile delay plugin that delivers sounds inspired by classic 1980s digital delay units.
3D Delay is available in AU, VST, VST3, and AAX formats for macOS and Windows.
In other news, Raccoon Audio has released EchoSnack Delay, and you can grab an exclusive BPB discount of 35% for a limited time (the offer is valid for the first 100 users, and it ends on August 31st, 2025).
If you like the retro 8-bit video game stylings of EchoSnack Delay, check out the previously released OctoWah Stew for more.
3D Delay features three fully-customizable delay taps with individual pan positioning (left, right, and center), time, and feedback settings. The feedback controls allow you to shape the delay regeneration in various ways, including channeling feedback from center to left/right or left/right to center.

The plugin might look a little familiar to Harrison Audio fans because, while it’s a new release, it’s not an entirely new concept. Harrison Audio released the 3D Triple Delay plugin over a decade ago, and you’ll find many similarities in this latest version.
The new 3D Delay boasts an intuitive and more modern interface that better represents the new era of Harrison Audio plugins (Post SSL acquisition).
In addition to three customizable delay taps, the plugin features high-pass and low-pass filters, modulation, and tap tempo/BPM sync options.

The multi-tap design and relatively extensive control set make 3D Delay a valuable tool for adding width, emphasis, or character to a particular source, or creating unique, complex delays. I think it works great on vocals, and with a little modulation, it’s excellent on synths for some 80s character.
Although it’s a fairly customizable delay plugin, it comes with ten factory presets to get you started in various styles, including Slapback, Ping Pong, and Rock Echo.
3D Delay is a nice freebie and a great way to give your track some edge.
