Gorilla DSP has released a guitar effects plugin for Windows. Old Vintage Fuzz is designed to emulate the tone and behavior of analog germanium fuzz pedals.
For authentic performance, place Old Vintage Fuzz before your amp simulation (or real amp input) in your signal chain—just as you would position a physical pedal ahead of an amplifier.
Rolling down your guitar’s volume cleans up the signal naturally, exactly as a real fuzz pedal responds to lower input levels.
The plugin comes with a fuzz knob to control the overall fuzz intensity. Additional parameters can be controlled in the DAW (tone, bass, gate, bias, and glassy cleans).
