Gooey has announced its upcoming bandpass-limited saturator. Sizzle allows users to add brightness, thickness, and warmth to their mix.
How it works: The signal is first carved to a designated bandpass, next, band-limited saturation is applied to add harmonics, then the content is added back in with the signal.
Background: Sizzle was inspired by watching world-renowned producers load large plug-ins into their DAWs, but only to utilize one feature: bandpass, saturate, and mix back in.
So, we refined the concept, slimmed it down, and made a smoother, more usable product at a fair price.
Sizzle will be available on August 2nd, 2025. It supports VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats for Windows and Mac.
