AudioDeluxe just dropped an exclusive sale allowing you to score the Eventide UltraReverb plugin for just $29 (normally $199), in an 85% off deal.
The deal, which represents a saving of $170, expires on November 1, 2025, at 5 AM UTC. I believe that 85% off is the biggest discount that has ever been offered for this plugin.
UltraReverb is a 64-bit exclusive release for macOS (AAX, AU, VST3) and Windows (AAX, VST2, VST3).
The plugin is available for macOS 10.14 or later (Intel and Apple Silicon) and Windows 10 or later. An iLok account is required to install the plugin, but no physical dongle is needed.
Eventide dropped the UltraReverb back in October 2015.
The plugin has nine verb algorithms that came from Eventide’s H8000 hardware digital effects processor.
The UltraReverb also features integrated comp, EQ, and delay. The plugin comes packed with 300 presets for mixing, mastering, post-production, and sound design.
The presets are sorted into various verb types, such as halls, chambers, rooms, plates, ambience, environments, and FX.
These are rounded out by Artist Presets designed by pro audio engineers and producers.
You can run the stereo delays pre- or post-verb, with tempo sync available. The comp can likewise be run pre- or post-verb.
There are four independent three-band parametric EQs (pre-EQ, post-EQ, verb EQ, delay EQ).
Eventide also packed in modulation rate and depth controls, and a lo-fi control for adding subtle grit or mangling the source.
Rounding out the controls is reverb tail randomization, which is based on the H949 Harmonizer Random setting.
So rather than a typical verb plugin, the UltraReverb is really an entire effects suite, with individual modules for the verb, delay, EQ, and comp.
There’s quite a lot of customization available, starting with the detailed reverb module itself and expanding out via the other modules.
Even just going through the stock presets, there’s already quite a bit of sonic territory covered before you dive into the deeper customization options.
The UltraReverb was well-received by reviewers upon release. For a plugin that’s a decade old, I’d say the full retail price of $199 would be hard to justify at present.
But at the current sale price of $29, the UltraReverb is starting to be a bit more of a tempting offer, particularly if you want an integrated suite to deeply customise your verbs within a single window.
