Excite Audio and KSHMR are giving away Bloom KSHMR Lite (usually $35) for free as part of the Wild Ride Remix Challenge.
The contest invites you to remix KSHMR’s latest track, called Wild Ride. It’s a genre-blending song that also has that signature KSHR cinematic synth flair.
It’s a catchy song and I’m a sucker for bassy synth drones, so I really liked this one.
The grand prize includes having your track premiered on Dharma Worldwide’s YouTube channel, and a hefty bundle of production tools from Excite Audio, Dharma Studio, and Loopcloud. Two runners-up will also receive the full prize package.
Here’s how to enter:
- Download the Wild Ride stems and Bloom KSHMR Lite for free.
- Create your remix, making sure to use Bloom KSHMR Lite at least once.
- Submit your entry via LabelRadar before September 4th, 2025.
Now, let’s take a closer look at the freebie.
Bloom KSHMR Lite is a streamlined version of Excite Audio’s Bloom KSHMR instrument, developed in collaboration with KSHMR, obviously.
It blends Indian and South Asian musical heritage with modern production, combining tablas, dhols, bansuri flutes, sitars, rababs, ouds, and expressive vocals. The Lite edition packs 75 presets and 56 samples, all royalty-free and recorded by musicians across India and the wider region.
Bloom’s interface lets you trigger one-shots and loops in sync with your DAW’s tempo, shape them with four KSHMR-designed macros (Lo-Fi, Tube, Width, Space), and add Noise, Reverb, and Dynamics processing.
It’s super easy to use. The white keys trigger individual sounds, black keys trigger phrases, and everything locks to the beat. However, compared to the Full version, Bloom KSHMR Lite has some limitations.
The complete edition offers 250 presets and 112 samples, plus advanced tools like sample import, drag-and-drop bank management, sample editing, multiple playback modes, a full sequencer, randomization functions, a modulation section with custom curves, and three rearrangeable FX modules.
Lite users still get the core sound engine and resizable GUI but miss out on those deeper sequencing and modulation features.
Even so, Bloom KSHMR Lite is a powerful instrument if you want to add organic South Asian textures to any genre, from cinematic scores to EDM tunes. If you wanted to get it for free, then this special offer is a no-brainer.
Bloom KSHMR Lite runs on macOS 10.15 or later (Intel and Apple Silicon) and Windows 7 or later, in VST, VST3, AU, AAX, and standalone formats. It’s 64-bit only and requires an internet connection for activation.
You can grab it now via the LabelRadar contest page and start building your remix.
