Fivio Foreign is taking his beef with streamers to the next level.
On Tuesday, the Brooklyn drill star publicly challenged PlaqueBoyMax to a boxing match, offered millions to make it happen, and suggested Adin Ross as the man to set it up.
“Yeah, boxing match New York City,” Fivio said on Instagram. “I figured it out. Somebody tell that PlaqueboyMax n***a we gotta box. I see them hosting boxing matches I see that’s what they do let’s do it. You can put up a million dollars. Five million dollars, however you want to do it. I don’t really care.”
Doubling down, the Off The Grid rapper made it clear he’s serious: “This n***a right here, you little Max. I want to box. Somebody set it up. I don’t got time, I got a million dollars on the line,” he added. “Or we can do five million however you want to go. You can stream it or put it on your stream, I don’t care. That’s how I’m coming now. I’m on the phone thinking you my man. That’s how I’m coming now, fuck it.”
Fivio’s challenge comes on the heels of PlaqueboyMax sharing alleged private messages between the two. In the exchange, Fivio appeared to ask to appear on Max’s “In The Booth”series, a reveal that Max posted in response to the rapper’s recent comments downplaying the popularity of streamers during an interview with Jim Jones.
“Rappers is cool, right? Streamers… I’m just telling you nothing but facts… the streamers got lit from having people on their stream. The cool people on they stream,” said Fivio during the talk with Jones. “It’s the streamer that’s lit, they [fans] like the platform. People like the platform. People don’t really like the individual.”
The situation has reignited tensions from their earlier clash at the top of the year, when Fivio and Lil Tjay were kicked out of Max’s Airbnb stream for smoking indoors. That moment spawned a viral wave of memes, a diss track from Fivio and Max, and merch from Tjay.
With Adin Ross known for hosting influencer boxing matches, such as the Brand Risk 008 that was held in June, people are already speculating on whether the streamer will step in to organize this showdown. As of press time, Max has yet to respond to Fivio’s challenge.
