Discreet Signals has recently launched a spectral multi-effects plugin that lets users draw parameters per frequency on a graphic EQ-style canvas. In Sculpture, threshold, attack, release, gate depth, delay time, resonator amount, and more, all live on a frequency curve.
Built for everyday problem-solving, the plugin lets you de-noise a recording, tame harsh resonances, or tonally balance a master. It can also turn a vocal into cascading arpeggiated bells, or white noise into a tonal space laser with clean transients.
Chain five spectral processors (a downward compressor, upward compressor, gate, delay, and a resonator) in any order. Work at up to 32,768 bands for maximum harmonic control, or with 128 bands and single-sample time resolution for when shaping transients matters most. Mix and match settings to dial in the right amount of harmonic and temporal resolution for your needed workflow.
A “Smoothness” parameter links neighboring frequencies so you can blend from fully independent spectral processing to grouped multi-band regions, continuously, wherever you want it, not as a single slider or mode switch.
Before adding any nodes, drag the edge of the curve, and adjusting any parameter is as simple as dragging a single slider! Only add complexity where you need it.
Sculpture for Windows and Mac (VST3/AU) is regularly priced $95 USD. An exclusive 20% discount is available by using coupon code REKKERDREADERS at the checkout.
