Fat Joe and Jadakiss are the latest in the rap world to chime in on Drake’s new single “What Did I Miss?”
On a recent episode of The Joe and Jada Show, the hip-hop veterans shared their enthusiastic reactions to Drizzy’s new single, which he premiered last week. The duo not only praised the track’s quality but also delved into its underlying themes, particularly Drake’s lyrical exploration of former allies turning against him in the rap industry.
Joe said he loves Drake’s track so much that he wanted to repost it, but decided not to as he didn’t want to get involved in any potential beef the 6 God was referring to in his lyrics. He also spoke about Drake being one hit away from surpassing Michael Jackson’s record for the most No. 1 songs.
“I felt like the new track was really dope,” said Joe. “I listened to it a couple of times and uh you know he’s one number one away from Michael Jackson’s record, and I think the soul of Michael Jackson is fighting that shit cause every time he put out one you think it’s going to take that joint, just it back down.”
Joe and Kiss then spoke on Drake using “What Did I Miss?” to reflect on his friends who turned their backs on him. As Kiss explained, people switching sides is a part of the rap game.

“He got a taste of the rap industry, man,” said Kiss. “They flip on you […] This game, they flip […] Rappers, the game, executives, everybody you could think of, store owners. Yeah, they fucking flip. That’s part of this. That’s the game we in.”
Joe added, “I didn’t understand that, like how guys he made so much to have him. The world changed on them. The world definitely changed on them because I didn’t understand that shit. You know what I’m saying? But I was just like, yo, how all these guys was his mans? They flip.”
One of Drake’s former friends that fans think took a hit on “What Did I Miss?” is LeBron James. The line that has everyone buzzing is “I saw bro went to Pop Out with them, but been dick-riding gang since ‘Headlines,'” seemingly a reference to Bron attending Kendrick Lamar’s The Pop Out concert in Los Angeles.
