Eminem made an appearance on JID’s new EP GDLU (Preluxe), and in his verse, he refers to the artist formerly known as Kanye West’s disturbing confession that he gave his cousin “head” when they were children.
In the third verse for “Animals (Pt. 1),” Em drops a series of rapid-fire references to other artists, including 50 Cent, N.W.A., Diddy, and Ja Rule. But his most direct reference comes when he name-drops Ye, referring back to his track from earlier this year, “Cousins.”
“With these magazines, I act out like Ye and his cousin,” Em raps. “Little cocksucker, I’m sprayin’ and bustin’ / Your shit suck dick, stop sayin’ it doesn’t / That’s probably the reason there’s nothin’ you’ve bodied of recent / I feel like I just walked in and seen you naked, ‘cause you not even decent.”

Back in April, Ye released a song titled “Cousins,” in which he recalled experimenting sexually with a male cousin when they were children.
“We seen two n***as kissing, we ain’t know what that shit mean,” Ye rapped on the track, which isn’t available on streaming platforms. “Then we start reenacting everything that we had seen / That’s when I gave my cousin head… I told my cousin not tell nobody / Please don’t make me take it to my grave / The truth will set you free someday / I don’t think they understand, that I’m not attracted to a man.”
After he dropped the track, which came after months of controversy and an embrace of Nazi rhetoric, Ye said that “everyone loves” him for his confession. However, the admission didn’t quite get people back on his side like he claimed. Charlamagne, for one, called the track a “publicity stunt,” while Cam’ron suggested his admission was “just too convenient.”
