Wavelet Audio has introduced its new Kontakt instrument library Runa: Elder Scoring Strings, a fully playable instrument which recreates the traditional Kobyz two-stringed bowed musical instrument for use in your DAW.
RUNA is a string library featuring a fully and deeply captured kobyz, the instrument with elder roots. It blends an imperfect character with a modern, cinematic atmosphere. From every possible articulations, screaming harmonics, multiple round-robins, dynamic layers and legato transitions to the powerful FX engine, RUNA offers huge possibilities and expressive depth.
From the very beginning, the idea behind this project was to create a string solution that accentuates performances with detailed harmonics and fits any mix.
