Drake‘s new track, “What Did I Miss?,” which he debuted during his surprise “Iceman Episode 1” livestream, is now available, and it features some eye-opening bars about people he once called friends.
The song was first premiered during the livestream, where fans were treated to a brief music video of Drake rapping with a load of guns surrounding him before performing the new song titled “What Did I Miss?” The song features Drake delivering his signature blend of slick melodies and razor-sharp raps, exploring the themes of questioning former friends and trying to figure out what led to their betrayal.
It didn’t take long for fans to catch a few pointed bars that seemingly referenced Kendrick Lamar and his “Pop Out” concert, held in Los Angeles on Juneteenth 2024, just one month after their headline-making rap beef. Several of Drake’s old buddies attended the concert, including NBA stars DeMar DeRozan and LeBron James.
“You switched on the guys and supported a hater / Let’s go / What’s a get back for niggas? It’s TBD / I look at this shit like a BTC, could be down this week, then I’m up next week,” Drake raps. “I’m back in your city tonight, walkin’ around with my head high / I saw bro at The Pop Out with them but been dick riding gang since ‘Headlines.'”

The fiery bars have reignited the ongoing conversation around Drake’s feud with Kendrick, as fans praised the slick delivery, while others were trying to figure out who exactly the Toronto native was talking about in his bars.
“What Did I Miss?” follows Drake’s teasing of his upcoming album, which many fans believe is titled Iceman. Drake also premiered a few unreleased tracks during the livestream, and it’s unclear if these will show up on the new album.
