PlaqueBoyMax says he’s parting ways with FaZe Clan.
The popular streamer shared a brief message on his social media accounts on Tuesday (August 5), announcing his departure from the content creator collective.
“left @FaZeClan,” he wrote, without providing additional details.
When did PlaqueBoyMax join FaZe Clan?
PlaqueBoyMax (born Maxwell Elliot Dent) joined FaZe Clan in April 2024. During his time with FaZe, he gained notoriety for his popular In the Booth series of videos, where he would record music live on Twitch with artists such as 41, Lazer Dim 700, Ian, and DDG. Viewers would tune in to watch his creative process and give real-time feedback.
He also ran Song Wars, a competition where artists would play unreleased songs for judges who score them.

Max also collaborated with Fivio Foreign, Cash Cobain, Nino Paid, BabyChiefDoIt, and others.
Why did PlaqueBoyMax leave FaZe Clan?
Max did not immediately provide a reason for leaving FaZe Clan. However, evidence online suggests that the 22-year-old producer and rapper may have been ready to focus more on his promising music career. His album, Five Forever, hit streaming platforms in May.
Max’s departure comes nearly a week after FaZe Banks stepped down from his role as a CEO of the organization over a meme crypto coin scandal. Last November, the two appeared together on Complex’s GOAT Talk for an episode recorded live at ComplexCon.
ComplexCon returns to Las Vegas on October 25–26, 2025, with over 300 brands and live performances by Young Thug, YEAT & Friends, Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson, and more. Get your tickets now.
