DDG’s mother, Tonya Granberry, has seemingly responded to allegations Halle Bailey made against her son in her request for a restraining order.
Bailey was granted a restraining order against DDG, her ex-boyfriend and the father of her child, earlier this week after she filed a police report accusing him of physically abusing her on multiple occasions.
In a post on her Instagram Stories, Granberry appeared to respond to the reports of the accusations against her son.
“I don’t usually comment or say anything on this internet even with all the negativity, the lies and hatred towards mine,” she wrote, without specifying what she was referring to. “However these accusations have made me realize that I have been quiet [too] long.”
For his part, DDG indicated that he was unbothered by the accusations against him.

“I’m chillin btw,” he wrote in a tweet on Wednesday. “I have no worries … streaming later on, no days off!”
Bailey was granted a domestic violence restraining order against DDG, real name Daryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., requiring him to stay 100 yards away from her. The couple broke up in October 2024, and she alleged things became physically violent in January when they argued over the visitation schedule for their 18-month-old son.
In the filing, Bailey accused DDG of pulling her hair, slamming her face into his car’s steering wheel, and chipping her tooth during one altercation. She alleged that in another incident in March, he entered her home without permission and took a photo of her empty bed, which he texted to her with the message, “Now I know what you’ve been on, lol.”
Granberry’s post was met with a barrage of comments from people criticizing her continuing to support her son, as seen in the screenshots below.
DDG seemingly found out that Bailey was granted a restraining order against him during a stream with Adin Ross. The YouTuber, rapper, and streamer has previously expressed frustration about the custody situation of their child. Recently, he said he’s six months celibate and is enjoying the single life.
