Crush Audio has released two brand-new products for macOS and Windows, including a free multi-FX plugin – Crush Percussion and Crush FX.
Before I get to the freebie, here’s a quick rundown of the premium release, Crush Percussion.
Crush Percussion is a collection of over 100 percussion instruments with default grooves and a powerful FX processor.
The realism and depth of the sampled percussion instruments are impressive, and the FX engine turns Crush Percussion into something more than percussion. You can create pitched 808s and melodic leads/basses from the simplest drum sounds.
Crush Percussion has an intro price of $299 (usually $399).
If you want the FXX without the drums, you can have them for free.
Crush FX is an effects engine featuring fifteen effects spread across five modules and a master section.

The five modules are Crush (Distortion, Bitcrusher), Glitch (Grain Pitch, Pitch Shifter), Vibe (Flanger, Chorus, and Phaser), Time (Delay, Tremolo), and Space (Hall Reverb, NonLinear Reverb).
Each module has dedicated controls for the selected effect, and a mix slider to create the perfect blend of all five modules. You can bypass any module you don’t want to include in your settings.
The master section features compression, low-cut and high-cut filters with resonance, low and high-shelf filters, a clipper, and three transient settings (Normal, Transient, and Sustain).
Crush FX has a long list of factory presets and a randomizer that provides an endless supply of module combinations and settings.
Crush FX is available in AU, VST2, VST3, and AAX formats for macOS and Windows.
If you need even more FX, check out the limited-time 98% discount on Rigid Audio Everything Bundle at Plugin Boutique (the offer ends on November 23, 2025, and requires the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt).
Given that we’re in the midst of Halloween, I’ll finish with a reminder of some releases that embrace the silliness of this time of year, starting with the Toots Silly Sound FX collection by Boom Library.
The collection includes 387 royalty-free sounds befitting your favorite cartoons.
If you want a spookier sort of silliness, check out Halloween Sounds by 99 Sounds, a horror plugin for macOS and Windows.
