Ciara claims that she and Rihanna have no bad blood with each other.
The singer addressed their relationship on Watch What Happens Live when asked about the brief feud that ignited in 2011. “We were babies,” she reflected. “Now we’re mamas doing our thing. It’s all love.”
Ciara acknowledged Rihanna’s pregnancy, saying, “Shoutout to mamas out here.”
“Cici got a love of love for Riri,” Ciara added.
Back in 2011, the world speculated that the two were feuding after Ciara appeared on an episode of Fashion Police and claimed that Rihanna was mean to her at an event. “I ran into her recently at a party, she wasn’t the nicest,” Ciara said. “It’s crazy, because I’ve always loved and respected what she’s done in fashion. It wasn’t the most pleasant run-in.”
Rihanna responded on X (then Twitter) with a sarcastically flammable response, writing, “My bad ci, did i4get to tip u?”

Ciara retorted with a threatening message,” typing, “Trust me Rihana u dont wanna see me on or off the stage.”
Rihanna’s clapback has become one for the history books, with her hilarious diss still being posted on social media to this day. “Good luck with booking that stage u speak of,” she wrote.
In 2013, Ciara addressed their simmering beef on a radio interview where she revealed that she didn’t have any problems with Rihanna.
“I think she’s nuts right now! Like whatever’s going on, because for me it doesn’t make any sense,” said Ciara. “I don’t have beef with anybody, but I’m not going to be disrespected either.”
“I wish her well,” Ciara continued. “I don’t know what her problem is. She has a lot of good things going on with herself. A lot of good things. I’ve always said I’ve been happy for her. I don’t get it. I really don’t, but I wish her well. I wish her positivity.”
In May of this year, Ciara and Rihanna were photographed together at the Met Gala.
