Chris Brown has pleaded not guilty to two additional charges stemming from an alleged attack on a music producer in a London nightclub back in 2023.
According to The Guardian, the “Run It” singer pleaded not guilty to one charge of assault causing actual bodily harm, and to a lesser charge of having an offensive weapon in a public place.
The brief hearing took place at Southwark Crown Court, situated near the River Thames in London, England.
Crown prosecutors alleged that Brown and Omololu Akinlolu—who was also present in court and pleaded not guilty to one count of actual bodily harm—attacked music producer Abraham Diaw at the Tape Nightclub in the Mayfair district of London in February 2023.
Approximately 20 fans were waiting outside the courtroom to greet the singer following his plea. Subsequently, according to The Guardian, he took to his Instagram stories to write, “FROM THE CAGE TO THE STAGE!!! BREEZYBOWL.”

Brown was released on bail of £5 million (approximately $6.75 million) in May 2025, pending the charges. This conditional release allowed him to continue with his Breezy Bowl XX tour, playing several dates throughout Europe.
The “Look At Me Now” singer is scheduled to return to the United States later this month and will kick off the Breezy Bowl XX tour in Miami, FL, at that time.
Brown is no stranger to controversy at his concerts. Last month, he had a fan thrown out of his show in Cardiff, Wales, after he alleged that she threw a drink at him.
Footage from the concert shows that a bunch of water was thrown in the air, with some eventually striking the singer.
That prompted Brown to angrily shout from the stage, “Do not throw any drinks on this motherf***ing stage. That’s all I gotta say, alright?”
