Cassie Ventura and husband Alex Fine have become a family of five.
A source connected to the 38-year-old singer confirmed to ABC News that Ventura welcomed her third child on Tuesday (May 27) at a New York City hospital.
Despite arriving slightly earlier than her due date, sources also told TMZ both mother and child are healthy and doing well.
While no other details were provided, the source said Ventura and Fine would post an update in the future.
Ventura’s birth comes in the midst of navigating public attention following her 2023 legal complaint against ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs, in which she alleged a decade-long “cycle of abuse.”
According to People, Ventura and Fine met at the gym and married in August 2019. The two are already parents to two daughters, Frankie, born in December 2019, and Sunny, born in March 2021.
Ventura announced her latest pregnancy in February via Instagram, posing with her baby bump and two children.
“I don’t want to lose myself in becoming a mom,” Ventura told Babe by Hatch in an October 2019 interview. “Of course, I will do anything for her, but I also want to remain true to myself. I want her to grow up watching me do my thing. I want her to see me making music, building my business, being a mom, a wife, a force, and be inspired by it all.”
She added, “I want to lead by example so she can grow up knowing that she can do anything and be everything her heart desires.”
