Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura testified in court on Tuesday (May 13) that Diddy forced her to call him by the same nickname that she called her grandfather.
According to courtroom reporter Matthew Russell Lee, a.k.a. Inner City Press, the singer and model detailed an email between her and the Bad Boy Entertainment founder. While on the witness stand, Ventura revealed that she called Diddy ‘Pop Pop’ after the music mogul asked what she would call her grandfather. In retrospect, Ventura called the request “disrespectful” although she referred to Diddy by the nickname.
The revelation was one of many shocking allegations made in the courtroom this week, along with Ventura claiming that Diddy would act violently towards her, especially when told “no” pertaining to his sexual requests. Along with Diddy mistreating Ventura with alleged “psychological abuse,” the 38-year-old recalled that in one instance, Diddy struck her while both were taking ecstasy. Ventura, who was formerly signed to Bad Boy, dated Diddy from 2007 to 2018, marrying fitness trainer Alex Fine the following year.

Also alleged during the trial was that Diddy orchestrated “freak-offs” with Ventura and hired sex workers. One escort, Daniel Philip, testified that during a sexual encounter with the former couple, Ventura asked him to perform urolagnia on her.
In a transcription from the Monday (May 12) proceedings, escort Daniel Philip alleged that Ventura asked him if he’d ever urinated on a client before, to which he denied doing so. After allegedly requesting that he do it, Philips said he did, although Ventura and Diddy allegedly stopped him once he began urinating in a way they didn’t want. Philips was asked to release “a little at a time” and “leak” on the singer.
Diddy, who has denied accusations made against him in the case, faces a life term in prison on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
