BOOM Library has released the August 2025 update to its general sound effects collection, featuring more than 650 new sound files, over 3,900 individual sounds, and 5 GB of carefully curated audio content.
This month’s update to BOOM ONE brings together the energy of cinematic scene transitions and the playful charm of toy recordings, offering a versatile and imaginative toolkit for professional sound designers.
With over 250 meticulously crafted transition effects, this collection helps inject motion and momentum into edits across a wide range of genres. Built using a combination of natural source material and refined through techniques like granular synthesis and modulation, plus content created through pure synthesis, these sounds are ideal for sci-fi, fantasy, action, trailers and any project where dramatic transitions are essential.
Featuring more than 400 recordings, this playful category captures the acoustic detail and character of childhood favourites. From musical toys and remote-controlled cars to toy guns and squeaky novelties, these sounds are perfect for animation, games, advertising, and anywhere a lighter or nostalgic tone is needed.
The update is now available to subscribers to BOOM ONE, which is priced €499 EUR/year including monthly updates.
