Aurora DSP is celebrating six years with a $15 voucher that works on anything in their store and even lets you get some of their plugins for free.
To get the discount, you can simply use the code 6YEARS at checkout. The offer ends in less than 24 hours, though, so act fast if you want to take advantage of it.
With the current 50% sale running across their catalog, that $15 credit goes a long way.
Several plugins fall under the $15 mark at their sale prices, which means you can pick them up for free or close to it. BPB readers in the comments have already shared a couple of pretty cool combos, and some walked away with two or three plugins for under a dollar total.
Here are some options that caught my eye.
DriveThru: Cerbes ($10 on sale) is a 3-channel preamp pedal plugin with per-channel tone stacks, an 808 overdrive, a delay/reverb pedal, a cab section with IR loader, and a 10-band graphic EQ. It is a lot of plugin for the money, and with the voucher, it is free.
You could even add the Laboga Chainsaw Distortion ($3.33) on top and still stay under $15. That is what I would personally do if I were looking for guitar tones.
Rotten Pool Verb ($8.33 on sale) is the one I am picking up myself, though. It is a reverb plugin from producer Kristian Kohle, built from impulse responses captured in an abandoned swimming pool.

It combines two reverb sections (a large, diffuse pool reverb and a shorter locker-room slap) with filtering and a drive section. It can go from lush and atmospheric to dirty and distorted, which makes it interesting for sound design and not just another clean studio reverb.
I love weird and unusual reverbs, so this one is an instant pickup for me with the coupon.
L2 Aura ($10 on sale) is a vintage tube compressor modeled after the classic LA-2A, with dual-mono mode and external sidechain support. If you need a smooth compressor for vocals or bus duties, this one is worth a look (and also check out our free BPB Dirty LA plugin).
Other options under $15 include the GateMate noise gate ($12.50), Dead Kitty guitar amp sim ($3.89), EQ510 graphic EQ ($10), and the Absylon extended range plugins for guitar or bass ($15 each).
Aurora DSP also has a free plugins page with several tools that are always free, including the Nosferatu guitar amp sim, Goblyn, the Fenrir IR loader, and a tuner.
Their software runs on Windows and macOS, and some plugins also run on iOS, but I haven’t tested whether the code applies to iOS versions.
